Synopsis of “Deadly Fetishes” by Kayden McLeod
In one night, a woman finds her soul mate she couldn't live with out, even if it kills her.
If you could have immortality, would you take it?
Running in fear of her life and that of her best friend's, Kelly would definitely say no to such an age-old question. Kelly is a quiet conservative woman who is prone to panic attacks; Marcus is a walking manual on sexual pleasure that just happens to work in a fetish club and takes full advantage of every perk of his job. He is captivating and dangerous and knows exactly what he wants. With a single-minded purpose, he scoops Kelly up from her abnormal, disillusioned life and shows her the pleasure immortality has to offer, if one knows where to look for it. His obsession and desire for her body knows no limits and only burns hotter every time he touches her. He is never sated, and she drives him insane with blinding need to hear her scream his name with absolute abandon.
Marcus fully intends to show her their new world of vampires, which isn't anything like what Kelly has ever dreamed of. And she isn't sure if she wants any part of it, whether that world includes Marcus or not.”
And just in case there was any doubt at all that you WANT a copy of the dangerously hot “Deadly Fetishes” here is a naughty little teaser to set your senses on fire!
Excerpt
"I love how you taste. Every time I touch you, and see your reaction to me, I just want to touch you more. I want to make you scream tonight, cher. Would you do that for me?" He murmured against my skin, leaving me unfulfilled.
I purred against his lips that took control of me, demanding that I give him everything. His impatient hands on my body tightened and coiled every muscle, needing him to really touch with me with a ferocity I couldn't deny much longer.
He moved his body to straddle mine, his thighs locking me in place so I couldn't move, not that I wanted to. He rose above me, his cock straining at the leather of his pants, demanding to be set free.
He took my face in his hands, and delivered the sweetest kiss I had ever tasted.
His throat rumbled erotically as my lips parted under his. His hands were tight in my hair, holding me still and taking what he wanted. I liked feeling submissive to him, how he dominated my body as if he already owned me.
It sparked some distant longing, and ignited a sharp, lustful need in me. I had never thought I would want to be dominated, but Marcus taking me over didn't seem like such a bad thing.
The more I thought about it, the more I wanted it.
He released my lips, letting his body slide to the floor in front of me. He parted my thighs, holding them open as he bent down to kiss my inner thigh and pushing up my skirt.
"Stroke yourself." He whispered, his eyes staring into mine, reaching for my hand and pleading with me. "Please."
Something about the way he asked made me want to do it, but that didn't make the twinge of self-consciousness quiet. I couldn't be that bold. It went too much against the grain.”

"The Mis-use of Double Letters" - A Pet Peeve By Lord Belthizor
Hello my loyal subjects,
In this article, I wish to address an issue which causes me much ire, and that is the use and subsequent mis-use of double letters in a word.
This annoys me to no end, as oft times, the addition or omission of a double letter can lead to a different word entirely, not only in meaning, but in the sound of the word as well.
Observe: Here we have the humble "O"; Fifteenth letter of the alphabet and fourth vowel. This letter is the most commonly mis-used of them all.
An example, if I may: "Lose" versus "Loose". There's a very big difference here as I'm sure you can see. LOSE means to NOT WIN whereas LOOSE means NOT TIGHT. So if you lovely erotic writers are trying to tell me that a particular girl did not win the race, this should be written with only a single "O".
So, why do I constantly see double "O's"? The girl did not LOOSE the race. It's just not possible! Put in the opposite and it makes even less sense: The girl will tighten the race. How the hell could you get that mixed up!?
So, here is where we look at how to avoid such collossal cock-ups: SOUND IT OUT.
LOSE has one "O", but also an "E" on the end. Any single-voweled word with an "E" on the end automatically applies the 'long-sounding' version of the vowel. Sound the word out to get an idea of how it sounds: "If it has a voiced Z sound, then it’s “lose.” If it has a hissy S sound, then it’s “loose.” Here are examples of correct usage: “He tends to lose his keys.” “She lets her dog run loose.”
Note that when “lose” turns into “losing” it loses its “E.” "(1)
That wasn't so bad, was it? If you're still confused, "loose" has the word "loo" in it, I trust you know what a Loo is... I also trust that when you announce it politely, you don't say, 'I'm going to the lo'.
Another annoyance with double "O's" is the 'word' "Oops". Same deal as above. "Oops" should ALWAYS have two "O's". NO exceptions. Get it. Got it? Good.
It's really quite simple when you think about it, and it shouldn't have to happen. A double letter can make all the difference.
So, homework for today - identify other double lettered words that have a single letter counterpart (like "lose" and "loose") and correctly use them in a sentence.
NO CHEATING! Now, I am trusting you, and I can assure you, I will be double checking all submitted answers. Cheaters WILL lose (or is it loose ?) marks.
Until my next article,
This Lord Belthizor, Assistant Editor for Mistress Journals, signing off.
One last thing, if you wish to contact me with suggestions for my next article, or even just to discuss something with me, please don't hesitate to do so. I may be a sour bastard at times, but I'm also helpful.

One Fan had this to say about "Bloodlines"
"If you are interested in finding a story that will draw you in quickly and keep your attention, Bloodlines by Carl J. Franklin may be just what you need. In this short novel of 152 pages, you will find yourself laughing, crying, and cheering for the main character, Kyle Skye Montana.
In the style of many classical writers, Carl J. Franklin begins his novella Bloodlines with a brief, but inviting prologue. While a prologue may serve multiple purposes for an author, Franklin elects to utilize it to introduce his readers to the main character and narrator of his story--Kyle Skye Montana--and give away the "almost ending" of his work right from the very beginning. While this might seem a bit unnerving for some readers, I assure you, like Shakespeare who often gave away the basic plot of his works in the prologue, Mr. Franklin has much more in store for his readers throughout this debut novella.
On the whole, the idea of the novella is to put the reader smack in the middle of young Kyle Montana's life. An aspiring screen writer, Kyle struggles with his family's perception of his sexuality, his dreams, and his struggles as a young man trying to make it in a small, close-minded financially depressed town. And, if things aren't bad enough for Kyle, early in the story he loses his one true friend and confidant: his mother. This loss helps set up the structure for the novel which combines first person narration and Kyle's own words in the form of letters to his deceased mother. Through Kyle's letters, the reader really has the opportunity to get to know Kyle and truly understand what Kyle stands for: peace, love, and giving.
The only minor hitch in the story comes when the book fast forwards roughly ten years to allow readers a glimpse into Kyle's later years. At this point, the book cleverly switches from first person to third person but leaves the reader longing to know what happened in those ten years with Kyle's personal and familial relationships. This feeling, however, is short-lived and serves no detriment to the overall story or message the novella conveys. The story is emotionally powerful--even without those ten years!
I certainly recommend Bloodlines; it is soon to be a hit and will leave readers realizing that the world is full of Kyle Skye Montanas, we only need to open our eyes, minds, and hearts to find them. Bravo to Mr. Carl J. Franklin on his debut publication! I am looking forward to many more of his works. " ~By Kerey Nicholas

The Rune Witch Series by Laura Stamps Now in E-Book!
"The Rune Witch Series" by Laura Stamps is now available in E-book and the prices are HOT HOT HOT, just like her books! You just can't get a story this sizzling for a better price!
About The Rune Witch Series
The Rune Witch Series is an erotica novella trilogy, featuring Noelle (a feisty alpha Rune Witch) and her HAWT boyfriend Wynn (a sexy shapeshifter). Wynn and Noelle appeared in two of The Witchery Series novels (What Witches Want and Call of the Witches) as secondary characters. Now this lusty couple has a series of their own, which takes place during the hot summer months of August and September in sultry South Carolina. Follow these two as they go from one sexcapade to the next, while Wynn tries everything he can think of to convince commitment-phobic Noelle to marry him. Good thing he never plays fair (naughty grin). Keep a cold drink handy for this series. You're gonna need it!
1.) "Sex Magick".........($1.99)
Noelle Wylie is a Rune Witch, and at thirty-five she’s got it all. This year she bought her dream home. Then she let Wynn, her darkly handsome, shapeshifter boyfriend move in. One evening Wynn gives Noelle a book on “sex magick.” Intrigued, she decides to give it a try. However, just as she experiences some of the best sex of her life she discovers Wynn has a hidden agenda. Uh-oh!
"Sex Magick: Chapter One"
Noelle grinds her hips to the heavy metal guitar of Black Sabbath’s first album. She sings loudly while slicing zucchini and squash, arranging each piece neatly over a bed of peas, brown rice, and lentils in a glass bowl.
Wiping her hand on the black apron tied around her waist, she reaches toward the CD player on the kitchen counter.
“Yeah, that’s a good one,” she mutters, when she presses the button and skips to a favorite song.
Electric guitar bounces off the walls in the kitchen, and Noelle shakes her short, gel-spiked, black hair, clutching a zucchini in one hand and the knife in the other. She rhythmically whirls around the kitchen on stiletto heels, dressed in a black t-shirt and tight black jeans.
Suddenly, the music stops and strong arms snake around her waist, yanking her back. The zucchini falls to the floor.
“Eek!” Noelle screams.
“Classic rock,” Wynn whispers, nuzzling her neck, his long dark hair spilling over her shoulder.
“Stop sneaking up on me, cat-man,” she scolds, holding up the knife. “I’m armed and dangerous!”
“No doubt about that, darlin’,” he murmurs, a thick Southern drawl accenting his words. He feathers light kisses in a line from her neck to her cheek, and turns her around in his arms. When his lips find hers, he ravages her mouth, his tongue probing deeply.
“Mmm.” Noelle throws both arms around his neck, and the knife dangles from her fingers. She inhales his familiar scent, a smoky mix of leather and the feral fragrance of the forest.
Noelle threads the fingers of her empty hand through his long, onyx hair. He must have taken the band out before he grabbed her, knowing she likes the way its silky strands flow over his shoulders. She grins, realizing he’s up to something tonight, obviously making a special effort to please her for some reason.
Wynn’s hands glide up under her t-shirt, and he hooks his thumbs beneath the lace of her bra, teasing her nipples. “What’s for dinner, darlin’?” he murmurs, nibbling her lip.
“Not me, cat-man,” she responds, pulling away and laughing as she swats at him with her empty hand. “There.” She points to the zucchini on the floor. “That’s your dinner.”
He winces. “You’re a cruel woman, Noelle.” Then he slips his hands into his pockets and leans against the refrigerator. “I left a present for you on the dining room table.”
“A present?” Noelle perks up. “What kind of present?”
Wynn smiles and shakes his head. “Go see for yourself, darlin’. We can talk about it at dinner.” He flips the switch on the CD player, and the sound of heavy metal vibrates the walls again.
Anubis, Noelle’s orange tabby, dashes into the kitchen and rubs his head against Wynn’s leg to greet him. He reaches down and scratches the cat’s head. “How’s my boy tonight?”
Anubis arches his back and collapses, rolling across his running shoes. Wynn picks up the tabby and walks out of the kitchen, cradling the cat in his arms.
Noelle fits the lid on the glass bowl and places it in the microwave, setting the timer on High for nine minutes. She tosses the knife in the dishwasher, wipes her hands on the apron, and turns off the CD player before hurrying toward the dining room table.
“A book on sex magick?” She picks up Wynn’s present and flips through it. “Isn’t this something chaos magicians do?”
“Yeah,” Wynn replies, watching her through the door, as he stretches out on the sofa in the den and opens a computer magazine. “But you don’t have to be a Chaote to practice it.”
“Ah, so any kind of Witch can do this, right?” She scans the first few pages. “Even a Rune Witch like me?”
“Exactly.”
Noelle peeks over the edge of the book and waggles her eyebrows. “I like this present.”
“I thought you might,” Wynn replies, giving her a sly grin. He swings his legs off the sofa and sits up, finger-combing his shoulder-length, black hair, a natural wave making it billow around his face and shoulders. He ties it back in a band at the nape of his neck.
“I wish you wouldn’t do that,” Noelle pouts, lowering the book.
“Just for dinner, darlin’,” he assures her, slowly standing and walking toward the table. He pulls open a drawer in the china cabinet and reaches for a box of matches. Lighting four black rune candles arranged in the center of the table, he flips the light switch, bathing the room in candlelight.
The timer on the microwave beeps, and Noelle lays the book down on the table. She returns a few minutes later with two steaming plates heaped with her latest vegan creation.
After Wynn brings two glasses of iced herbal tea from the kitchen and sets them on the table, Noelle draws runes in the air over their meal to charge it with good energy. Then she plops into her chair and flips open the book.
“Careful,” she warns, as Wynn sits and lifts a heaping forkful of vegetables and rice to his mouth. “It’s hot.”
Wynn gives her a crooked grin, leans over, and tenderly kisses her cheek. “Thanks for looking out for me, sugar.”
“You’re so transparent!” Noelle bursts out laughing.
Wynn lifts the fork to his mouth. “It’s part of my charm.” He winks at her and chews.
“Okay, cat-man,” she asks, pulling a candle near the book to illuminate the page she’s reading. “Do you want to do this tonight?”
“Probably not.”
“No?”
“Read, Noelle.” He waves his fork at the book. “This takes preparation. It’s not like the spells you usually cast.”
“Hmm,” Noelle mutters, quickly skimming pages while she eats. “Looks like we’ll need to cast a sacred circle. Just like we usually do.” She looks up at Wynn, grinning naughtily. “Only this time the bed will be the altar.” She licks her lips. “I like it already.”
“That’s my girl,” Wynn replies, looking at her through thick dark lashes.
Noelle taps her fingers on the table as she continues to eat and read. “So this is basically a ritual of manifestation.”
“It is.”
“And we can use runes for the sigils?”
“We can.”
Noelle frowns. “I’m not very good at following directions, as you know.”
Wynn grins and cocks an eyebrow. “It’s one of the things I love about you, sugar.” He stands and stacks their empty plates.
Noelle looks down at the book and taps her fingers again. She’s always been a free spirit, only doing what she wants to do. Rarely following the beaten path, she’s never taking direction well. Even her Pagan life has been eclectic. First she was a Wiccan, then a follower of the Goth movement, and now a Rune Witch.
When Noelle felt she needed a nest egg for her financial future, she began to invest in stock. Now she’s thirty-five, and this year she used part of the earnings from her investments to buy a house.
Thoroughly enjoying her independent status, she avoided long-term relationships. Instead she hopped from one Pagan boyfriend to the next.
Until she bumped into Wynn five years ago while they were both shopping at Spencer’s in the mall. He was a former Chaote, who had also become an eclectic Pagan, blending a bit of chaos magic, sigil magic, and shamanism into his Pagan faith.
Noelle couldn’t resist his darkly handsome appearance or his feral aura. She could sense he lived life on his own terms, caring little how others perceived him. There was also something ominous and foreboding about this quiet man. He wore personal power as comfortably as his black leather jacket, and she wanted him.
They left the store together and talked for hours in the coffee shop at the mall.
Noelle invited him into her bed that night. And they’ve been a couple ever since, a fact that gives Noelle’s independent streak the jitters. But Wynn seems to be the perfect, calming balm for her cranky, high-strung personality.
After he dropped hints for two years, she finally let him move in with her in June. Noelle suspects he’s fallen in love with her and would like to make their relationship permanent.
But the idea of marriage terrifies her, so she ignores it. Living in denial has its advantages.
“It looks like I can be eclectic here and do my own thing,” she muses, folding down the corners of several pages and closing the book.
“Absolutely.” Wynn lifts the plates. “Chaos magic is eclectic by definition. As long as we build the proper amount of energy and focus our intent to cast the spell, it should work.”
“Cool.” Noelle watches him take the dishes into the kitchen and admires the way his jeans hang on his hips. “What a boy-toy,” she murmurs.
“All you have to do is figure out what you want to manifest, darlin’,” Wynn explains, walking toward the sliding glass door.
“Going out?”
“Yeah,” he responds, opening the door four inches and kneeling down to slip a bar in the track. “There’s a waxing moon tonight.” He turns around. “Good energy for a run.”
“Okay,” she warns, pinching out the candles. “But stay in this neighborhood.”
“Yes, ma’am.” He gives her a sexy grin. “I won’t be gone long.”
Wynn backs away from the door. His tall, lean body dissolves into a sparkling cloud of mist, which quickly dissipates to leave a black cat hopping out of his clothes crumpled in a pile on the floor.
Noelle reaches down to scratch Wynn’s head as he rubs against her leg, purring loudly. He arches his back, runs around the room, and slips through the small opening in the door, dashing out into the dark wilds of a hot August night in Columbia, South Carolina.
“Showoff,” Noelle mumbles, standing up. She tucks the sex magick book under her arm and walks through the den and down the hall to the room where they keep their computer equipment. As she passes through the door, she drops the book on a table and drags a chair up to her computer, content to check email and surf the web until Wynn returns.

About the Book
Three years after he walked away from her and broke her heart, Leo is back in Chloe’s life and that’s the last place she wants him. Not that she has any choice in the matter. She’s in big trouble. She needs somebody to watch her back and he’s the “somebody”.
Three years ago, Chloe dumped a bombshell in Leo’s lap. I’m psychic, she told him.
As if he was supposed to believe that. His world is black and white, and he doesn’t buy into that mumbo jumbo. Walking away from her damn near killed him, but he couldn’t be with somebody he couldn’t trust.
His new job? Keep Chloe safe. That’s it.
He’s not supposed to touch her. He’s not supposed to make love to her. He’s not supposed to want her…need her…love her.
But he can’t stop thinking about her, can’t stop dreaming about her. Now that she’s back in his life, he can’t keep his hands off her either.

Excerpt from "Never As It Seems" by Shiloh Walker
Leo…
Feeling a pair of angry eyes boring into the back of her head, she carefully blanked her expression, willed her tight muscles to relax. Once she felt she could face him without showing some sign of how awful she felt, she turned around and looked at the one man she’d trusted enough to give her heart.
But he’d broken it. Thrown it at her feet and stomped on it.
And if that wasn’t enough, he’d called her a liar, a con artist, a thief.
It isn’t exactly fair that Leo Brant should still look so good, she thought. Yeah, yeah, it had only been three years, but as cruel as he’d been, as much as he’d hurt her, couldn’t fate have been kind and given him a paunch? A bald spot? Turned that long, lean body soft and mushy?
Even a few wrinkles.
But no, he looked as yummy now as he had the first time she’d seen him, nearly four years ago.
Black hair tumbling into his face, eyes almost as green as grass and sharp enough to cut, wide shoulders and narrow hips. He wasn’t particularly tall—only about five-seven but
Chloe was only five-two herself and she kind of liked having a man she didn’t have strain to look at. She’d loved resting her head on those shoulders, loved pressing her face against his neck and breathing in the warm, male scent of him. Loved waking in his arms, loved falling asleep next to him. Loved him.
She’d loved him. Plain and simple, and he’d broken her heart.
She wanted to yell at him. Wanted to throw herself at him and wrap her arms around his neck, kiss him until they lost their breath, strip him naked…
Then she wanted to beat him bloody, yell at him until she was hoarse. Then she wanted to cry.
More than anything, she wanted to cry.
He’d given her a glimpse of happiness and then he’d stolen it away from her. She still felt broken over it and she still wanted to scream and rant.
Because she suspected she might, she swallowed the knot in her throat. She could fake it. She’d been faking her way through things for most of her life. She’d pretended to be normal, pretended not to hear voices, pretended that her gift wasn’t as strong as it was, pretended it wasn’t more of a curse.
She could pretend her heart wasn’t turning to stone in her chest.
Sliding her tongue along her lower lip, she looked Leo over, head to toe and then back again. Once their eyes met, she gave him a slow smile and tugged her sunglasses off.
“Well hello, Leo. Long time, no see,” she drawled.
“Chloe.”
“Wow. You don’t sound happy to see me.” She gave him a look of mock innocence, though she knew just how not happy he was. He would rather be anywhere but here, assigned to any job but this one.
Not that she could really tell any of that from his mind, but she didn’t have to. It was written all over his face.
She’d never been able to read him all that easily, although she could…sometimes.
No, she’d gotten that off Dave. She might not be able to read Leo, but Dave? He was a bit easier to read.
“I’ve been explaining the basics of the situation to Leo, Chloe. Of course, it would be easier if somebody would explain more details to me.” He lifted a brow and said, “Could you maybe shed some light on the subject?”
“Hoffner said he’d already filled you in on the details.”
She studied her nails, frowning as she realized she’d
chipped the polish on just about every one of her nails and two of them were broken. One was broken right down to the quick, but she’d never even noticed.
Unconsciously, she started to twist one of the silver rings she wore, staring out the window.
“Hoffner said he couldn’t tell me much. He was still investigating things,” Dave said, drawing her attention back to him.
Investigating. Yes, she imagined he was. Trying to track down Mike Greely, trying to figure out what all he was involved in and how he was connected to a dead foster child. How all of that connected to Chloe and how that connected to the fire that had chased Chloe out of her home in the middle of the night three weeks ago.
Her throat started to burn as the memory of the smoke crept up to taunt her. She pressed her fingers against her tired eyes and tried not to think about what would happen if Hoffner decided it was too chancy to risk taking the word of a psychic.
So far, the police and the arson investigators weren’t too impressed with the idea that somebody had set the fire.
They were blaming faulty wiring. Greely did know his arsonists.
Blowing out a sigh, she looked at Dave and said, “I’m sorry but I promised the DA I wouldn’t discuss this with anybody until he’d done some poking around.”
Acid churned in her stomach and she rested a hand on her belly for a moment and then rooted around in the purse she carried. The mangled pack of Tums was almost empty. She’d have to talk her new jailor into stopping for more on the way to wherever he was going to keep her.
Keith Hoffner had warned her it could be a couple of weeks before he had anything concrete.
Weeks, she thought glumly.
She might have to spend weeks with Leo.
From the corner of her eye, she could see him watching her. And while she might not be able to read his mind, she could sure as hell feel the general state of it.
And he was pissed.
But there was something under that anger, and it was familiar, even after three years.
Heat.
She shivered and crossed her arms over her breasts, casually hiding her body’s reaction. The feel of her arms rubbing over her nipples was torment, but at least it was better than having him notice. And he would. Even as mad as he was, he was all too aware of her, she knew.
Just as she was aware of him.
Man, could she really handle this?

"Unstoppable Love" Part 5, by Sammie Dune available now on Between the Sheets
"Unstoppable Love" Part 5, by Sammie Dune. Between the Sheets' resident author of Erotic Horror, can be found in "Uncle Limpy's Lustful Thoughts" at http://between-thesheets.co.cc
Sammie once again throws an incredible twist into the story. From the explanation of what Dr. Mico had done with the homeless people to why they are behaving the way they are and if or how it can be cured.
We also find out what happens between Vicky and Juliet after Juliet picks Vicky up on the side of the road.
Not to mention that we see what happens with Dr. Mico after he escapes and slips in through the broken window that leads into his abandoned laboratory.
Teaser from Part 5 of "Unstoppable Love" by Sammie Dune
Juliet stood frozen, looking the young woman up and down. She had always been a strict heterosexual. Now, however, she began to wonder about all the choices she had made regarding her sexual partners.
She had seen naked women before. In the shower at the gym she belonged to, and her college room mate. And even her sisters a few times. She wasn't a prude. She was just very in control of her morals and actions.
The naked girl standing in front of her, however, was like an alien being. Juliet was simply powerless to stop her from reaching out and taking her hand.
"Your husband is a fool for letting you go." Vicky said as she stepped closer and took Juliet in a tight embrace.

**Noted by one reader as a "page turner....could not stop reading it!"
**And recent comments "Once again Pablo you have dazzled with your descriptive imagery. I have never been on a ship before but I could see it all so clearly. I want to slap that woman, does she not realize that Billie is not for her.
I look forward to chapter 3. I want to know if Billie and Glen get to sample any of the hot staff."

Author's Description:
Glenn Talbot and Billie Blake celebrate their tenth anniversary by taking a cruise to Alaska. The entire story is all fluff. With all the blue-hairs and bald-caps aboard ship, they meet up with a cute cabin steward, hunky waiter, and appealing bartender.
The action starts in a Friends of Dorothy Party in the Greek Lounge. Their sexual desires emerge to participate in gay explorations which become explosive throughout the cruise.
The novel might be slow like “A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens, but it is important to the romance between Glenn and Billie. There is romance, comedy, suspense, and suggestive sexual involvements.
Paul and Linda Anderson play a cat and mouse game with Billie, who becomes their fall guys for smuggling. Follow the strategy of the Andersons from port to port and back to the home port of San Francisco to successfully transport the diamonds off ship.
Follow the characters as they visit beautiful scenery in Victoria, Alaska, and the gold rush Yukon. Although gold was the treasure sought by travelers at the turn of the 20th Century; diamonds in 2006 are the main object of envy.
Billie and Glenn, much too involved for their comfort, ask when they return home, “What happened to the contraband?”
*************Excerpt from Chapter 3 - Victoria*************
The ring of the telephone jolted both of them from a deep sleep.
“You must have filled out the breakfast menu. Our cute steward is calling to wake us up, isn’t he?”Billie asked, clearing some congestion from the frog in his throat.
“Yes, dear,” Glenn answered, as he stretched in bed. “I thought I’d have him serve us breakfast in bed, naked.”
“Naked; him or us?”
“I haven’t decided yet.”
Billie pulled on a hair from Glenn’s exposed chest.
“Ouch! That hurts.” Glenn winced and pulled the covers over his chest.
“I could always get back under the covers.”
“Only if you try something else.”
“What if Steven comes to the door when we’re occupied?”
“We’ll invite him in to join us.” Glenn chuckled.
“Something’s going to happen; I’m not ready for this.”
“How’s your leg?” Glenn asked, as they both put on their robes.
“Better; just a little sore.”
There were two or three light knocks at the door.
Billie opened the door for Steven.
“Good morning, Billie and Glenn; did you sleep well?” the steward asked.
“Very well, and what delights have you brought us besides yourself?” Glenn joked.
Steven laughed. “Depends on what you had in mind,” he teased.
“Glenn,” Billie commanded with a mock tone of discipline.
“Okay, what did you bring this morning?” Glenn repeated more seriously.
“Fresh fruit, a bagel, a croissant, Danishes, orange juice, and coffee,” Steven said as he set the tray down. “Do you need something else?” He noticed the wheelchair. “Oh, no; what happened?”
Glenn focused on Billie for a response.
“It’s nothing. I sprained a muscle yesterday in a Tai Chi class. My leg is fine now.”
“Are you sure?” Steven inquired.
“Certainly,” Billie reaffirmed. He walked around the room. “See.”
“Okay; I will return the wheelchair for you, then.”
“Thank you,” Billie said.
“Is there anything else you need, more food?”
Glenn looked at Billie and smiled. “No, that’s enough.”
“I have a surprise for you, though; some champagne.”
“But we didn’t order any, Steven,” Billie said with surprise.
“This is from a secret admirer.”
Billie and Glenn looked at each other inquisitively.
“Who?” Glenn asked.
“They wished to remain anonymous,” Steven explained. “Shall I pour you some?”
“What the hell?” Glenn commented.
The steward went out in the hallway to retrieve the champagne.
When he brought it back into the room, Billie grabbed his arm. “This is Dom Perignon, you must be mistaken.”
“No, this is what I was told to serve you.” Steven popped the cork and poured into two champagne flutes.
“This is bizarre,” Billie laughed.
“Let’s just enjoy it; it’s not every day we get to indulge in Dom Perignon,” Glenn reminded his partner.
“Can I get you anything else?”
“No, you are treating us very well this morning. Thanks,” Glenn answered.
“I will leave you to have some fun,” Steven urged. “Enjoy your trip in Victoria.” As he began to leave, he reminded them, “Don’t forget, we sail at 7.”
Glenn and Billie echoed a thank you, as he left. They initially reached for their coffee, but succumbed for the champagne.
“Here’s to our secret admirer,” Glenn toasted inquisitively.

"A Lesson In Grammar" For All Aspiring Authors.
Ok, so this is more like a rant, but nevertheless, it is important.
I have just gone through all the writing in the critique section on Mistress Journals Erotic Stories Forum and editied it to the best of my ability, and a few things have remained consistant among the various authors and stories - grammatical errors.
Here, I am going to outline the worst of them, and hopefully provide some tips on how to improve, assuming I don't get too carried away in my rant.
First up we have the humble ellipsis. The ellipsis is a series of three full stops one after the other: "..."
The ellipsis is not more and not less than three full stops. So why do people insist on writing lines of these? It does not serve any purpose. The ellipsis itself provides the necessary pause whereas this: "........................................" just serves to be a nuisance for me to clean up.
Next up, we have the apostrophe: ' this is usually used to denote one or more missing letters at the end or part way through a word. Examples include: flamin', "can't", "don't", "won't" etc in the first instance the apostrophe indicates a missing "G", in every other case that I have presented, the apostrophe denotes a contraction, that is, shortening of a word or phrase to form another word with the same meaning. E.g. "cannot", "do not", "will not". A possessive apostrophe is usually used in a name. For example: "Billy's cat was missing". Without the apostrophe there, one is led to assume that "Billys Cat, was missing" It's like it becomes a name unto itself.
Another source of frustration is the mis use of the full stop and comma. The full stop is used at the end of a sentence and should IMMEDIATELY be folowed by a capital letter. A comma is used to break up a sentence to allow the reader to take a breath. I'm sure none of you speak like this without taking a breath in between of this abnormally long sentence because if you did you would probably collapse of exhaustion if you did not involuntarily take a breath in the appropriate spots.
You see what I did there? I wrote one whole long sentence that could, and should, have been broken up with commas. Except that I did not. Made it very difficult to read, didn't it?
My final grievance has to do with the proper use of "a" and "an". If the word following after it begins with a consonant (i.e. not a vowel, or vowel sound letter, like "H") then the preceding word should be "A". If it IS succeeded by a vowel, or vowel sounding letter (like "H"), then the preceding word should be "AN". Capiche?
Well, I hope this has been informative to all you wrioters, and I look forward to reading your properly punctuated, grammatically good and structurally sound stories.
Until next time
Happy writing,
Belthizor

"House of Immortal Pleasures" by Katie Salidas is now available on Kindle!
House of Immortal Pleasures, a new erotic romance ebook by author, Katie Salidas is now available on Kindle! Get it now for only $1.99 from Amazon.com
Daphne has just been taken, against her will, to the famed House of Immortal Pleasures (a vampire brothel). We join her and her friends as they peruse the house menu...
The doormen left Daphne and her friends sitting in a quiet, cozy little booth in the downstairs bar. Soft music, the clink of glasses, and a mix of chatter from the other patrons filled the room. They sat perusing the house menu. Services here were ordered à la carte, and Daphne used the excuse of needing time to choose her…services to avoid being sent upstairs. All around the dimly-lit bar were vampires, both men and women, working the customers, trying to get them to go up to the rooms and enjoy their erotic pleasures.
Surrounded by her friends and not being groped or mesmerized by Fabio-esque men, Daphne felt a little more like herself. No longer dizzy, she finally found the ability to articulate the thoughts floating around in her head. “I want to go home, now!”
“Not until you have had some fun,” Jamie teased. “Now, you said you wanted to look at the menu. So, what sounds good? Maybe a little tongue lashing?”
“What! No, give me that.” Daphne yanked the menu out of Jamie’s hand.
She gasped and bit her lip as she looked over the list of services to order. There it was, half way down the laminated page. “What the hell, it’s actually called ‘Tongue Lashing’.” She read the description.
Indulge in your most sensual fantasy as your master of pleasure, using only his tongue, will explore your most sensitive places.
Daphne gulped down a breath, trying not to show her interest, wanting to look disgusted and repulsed. She crossed her legs and set the menu down on the table. She hoped her ruse worked. Daphne knew she couldn’t bring herself to be with another man, but her body had a different idea. Just the thought of a warm, velvety tongue lapping at her skin started warmth pulsing between her legs.
“Oh c’mon, Daph. Don’t be such a prude,” Kerri said. She took the menu from the table.
A scantily-clad cocktail waitress wandered by to take their orders. “Tequila,” Jamie exclaimed. “Three shots for each of us.”
“Woot,” Kerri said in agreement as she bounced up and down in her seat. Her tight, curly red hair bounced with her as she danced in the booth. “Let’s get this party started right.”
Daphne sighed and put her head down on the table.
“Oh look, they have a virgin special.” Kerri said excitedly and thumped Daphne on the shoulder. “Fun for first-timers.” She pointed to a spot on the menu. “Don’t be nervous. We will make sure your first time is magical.” She read the description with an added flair to her voice. “Start with a candle-lit bath, to help you set the mood. Then, retreat to one of our fantasy rooms where your creature of the night will-”
“Stop it! Just shut up.” Daphne looked up, shooting Kerri a dangerous, menacing glare.
“Well you haven’t had sex since Ken. I’m sure you qualify for the first-timers special. Your cherry has probably grown back by now.”
Jamie and Kerri high-fived. “Use it or lose it,” they cheered together.
“That’s it. I’m going home. I’ve had enough of this stupid game,” Daphne said, standing up next to the table. “I’ll call a cab if you won’t take me home.”
The cocktail waitress returned with nine shot glasses, a shaker of salt, and a plate of lemon and lime wedges.
“Okay, Daphne, we’ll go…” Jamie said solemnly. Daphne breathed a sigh of relief. Jamie turned to Kerri and winked. A wicked smile crossed her face “Only after you drink your shots.”
Daphne groaned. “Enough of your stupid games.”
“Look, lady.” Jamie’s tone became serious. “It’s a seventy dollar minimum just to walk through the door here. Let’s at least have some drinks, okay?”
Daphne collapsed back into the booth. “Fine. Hand me a fucking shot.”
“That’s the spirit,” Kerri said, sliding a glass to Daphne while picking up one for her self. “To popping Daphne’s cherry.” She held up her glass. “Again!”
Daphne groaned loudly. With friends like these, who needs enemies? She tipped the glass and swallowed the harsh liquid.
