Author Interview

Hello and welcome, readers! We have Nikki Sparxx here with us today. Nikki, Thanks for visiting us.
Thanks for having me.

How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I have been writing since November of 2012. I published my first book in May of 2013. My love of reading sparked my desire to write. I read so many books that were full of grammatical errors that it got me thinking, “hey, I can do this.”

Tell us about your title featured in: Sweeter Than Chocolate: Valentine's Day Anthology.
Key to my Heart is a novella about a woman who catches her boyfriend is cheating on her and swears off men. Her best friend asks her to go speed dating with her for moral support and she ends up meeting someone.

How did you come up with the storyline?
I heard about Lock and Key parties and it sparked the idea.

What inspires you to write?
My readers and the notion that I’m leaving something behind that will last even after I’m gone. My books are my legacy.

What is your favorite genre to read?
Paranormal romance.

What would you say is the one thing are you most passionate about outside of writing?
My furbaby, Bella. I’ve had her for 13 and a half years and she is like my child.

When you are not writing, what do you like to do?
Play The Sims 4, watch Netflix and movies, read.
Tell us about your other books.
I write a variety of romance and like to think I have something for everyone. I have a dark contemporary romance duet about a woman who was abused and finds love with her self-defense instructor. I also have a millionaire mafia forbidden romance standalone and a second chance small town country romance. Lastly, I have a Paranormal romance trilogy featuring Greek mythology and Elementals
