"If you never have any expectations of other people then you will never be disappointed. When a positive experience occurs it is always a reason to rejoice." ~Gina Kincade, 2009

"I have learned, as a rule of thumb, never to ask whether you can do something. Say, instead, that you are doing it. Then fasten your seat belt. The most remarkable things follow." ~Julia Cameron

Hump Day Hook: Book 3 Chapter 2 in my WIP of The Hybrid Series

Hi Everyone!

This week's Hump Day Hook is from book 3 in my WIP of The Hybrid Series. Please be aware this is Unedited.

Enjoy!

As he reaches out to touch her honey-browned, petal- soft skin and grasps nothing but the thin veil of air where his imagination placed her, he begins to weep uncontrollably. She can’t be gone from him.

No! He will never accept it! He will find her and bring her back where she belongs, to him, in his arms, forever. He swears on the grave he stood over only moments ago, she will not be lost to him...

Summoning the resolve being created by the anger boiling inside him, Kinlord plans his next move; where to begin his search for his beloved Isobel, the only woman who could ever be his wife and the one to share in his everlasting life.

  3. Wonderful hook. The first sentence had me gasping. I must buy this. I love the way you brought out romance, tension and love in such a small phrase. Bravo!
