The Rune Witch Series by Laura Stamps Now in E-Book!

"The Rune Witch Series" by Laura Stamps is now available in E-book and the prices are HOT HOT HOT, just like her books! You just can't get a story this sizzling for a better price!

About The Rune Witch Series

The Rune Witch Series is an erotica novella trilogy, featuring Noelle (a feisty alpha Rune Witch) and her HAWT boyfriend Wynn (a sexy shapeshifter). Wynn and Noelle appeared in two of The Witchery Series novels (What Witches Want and Call of the Witches) as secondary characters. Now this lusty couple has a series of their own, which takes place during the hot summer months of August and September in sultry South Carolina. Follow these two as they go from one sexcapade to the next, while Wynn tries everything he can think of to convince commitment-phobic Noelle to marry him. Good thing he never plays fair (naughty grin). Keep a cold drink handy for this series. You're gonna need it!

1.) "Sex Magick".........($1.99)

Noelle Wylie is a Rune Witch, and at thirty-five she’s got it all. This year she bought her dream home. Then she let Wynn, her darkly handsome, shapeshifter boyfriend move in. One evening Wynn gives Noelle a book on “sex magick.” Intrigued, she decides to give it a try. However, just as she experiences some of the best sex of her life she discovers Wynn has a hidden agenda. Uh-oh!

"Sex Magick: Chapter One"

Noelle grinds her hips to the heavy metal guitar of Black Sabbath’s first album. She sings loudly while slicing zucchini and squash, arranging each piece neatly over a bed of peas, brown rice, and lentils in a glass bowl.

Wiping her hand on the black apron tied around her waist, she reaches toward the CD player on the kitchen counter.

“Yeah, that’s a good one,” she mutters, when she presses the button and skips to a favorite song.

Electric guitar bounces off the walls in the kitchen, and Noelle shakes her short, gel-spiked, black hair, clutching a zucchini in one hand and the knife in the other. She rhythmically whirls around the kitchen on stiletto heels, dressed in a black t-shirt and tight black jeans.

Suddenly, the music stops and strong arms snake around her waist, yanking her back. The zucchini falls to the floor.

“Eek!” Noelle screams.

“Classic rock,” Wynn whispers, nuzzling her neck, his long dark hair spilling over her shoulder.

“Stop sneaking up on me, cat-man,” she scolds, holding up the knife. “I’m armed and dangerous!”

“No doubt about that, darlin’,” he murmurs, a thick Southern drawl accenting his words. He feathers light kisses in a line from her neck to her cheek, and turns her around in his arms. When his lips find hers, he ravages her mouth, his tongue probing deeply.

“Mmm.” Noelle throws both arms around his neck, and the knife dangles from her fingers. She inhales his familiar scent, a smoky mix of leather and the feral fragrance of the forest.

Noelle threads the fingers of her empty hand through his long, onyx hair. He must have taken the band out before he grabbed her, knowing she likes the way its silky strands flow over his shoulders. She grins, realizing he’s up to something tonight, obviously making a special effort to please her for some reason.

Wynn’s hands glide up under her t-shirt, and he hooks his thumbs beneath the lace of her bra, teasing her nipples. “What’s for dinner, darlin’?” he murmurs, nibbling her lip.

“Not me, cat-man,” she responds, pulling away and laughing as she swats at him with her empty hand. “There.” She points to the zucchini on the floor. “That’s your dinner.”

He winces. “You’re a cruel woman, Noelle.” Then he slips his hands into his pockets and leans against the refrigerator. “I left a present for you on the dining room table.”

“A present?” Noelle perks up. “What kind of present?”

Wynn smiles and shakes his head. “Go see for yourself, darlin’. We can talk about it at dinner.” He flips the switch on the CD player, and the sound of heavy metal vibrates the walls again.

Anubis, Noelle’s orange tabby, dashes into the kitchen and rubs his head against Wynn’s leg to greet him. He reaches down and scratches the cat’s head. “How’s my boy tonight?”

Anubis arches his back and collapses, rolling across his running shoes. Wynn picks up the tabby and walks out of the kitchen, cradling the cat in his arms.

Noelle fits the lid on the glass bowl and places it in the microwave, setting the timer on High for nine minutes. She tosses the knife in the dishwasher, wipes her hands on the apron, and turns off the CD player before hurrying toward the dining room table.

“A book on sex magick?” She picks up Wynn’s present and flips through it. “Isn’t this something chaos magicians do?”

“Yeah,” Wynn replies, watching her through the door, as he stretches out on the sofa in the den and opens a computer magazine. “But you don’t have to be a Chaote to practice it.”

“Ah, so any kind of Witch can do this, right?” She scans the first few pages. “Even a Rune Witch like me?”

“Exactly.”

Noelle peeks over the edge of the book and waggles her eyebrows. “I like this present.”

“I thought you might,” Wynn replies, giving her a sly grin. He swings his legs off the sofa and sits up, finger-combing his shoulder-length, black hair, a natural wave making it billow around his face and shoulders. He ties it back in a band at the nape of his neck.

“I wish you wouldn’t do that,” Noelle pouts, lowering the book.

“Just for dinner, darlin’,” he assures her, slowly standing and walking toward the table. He pulls open a drawer in the china cabinet and reaches for a box of matches. Lighting four black rune candles arranged in the center of the table, he flips the light switch, bathing the room in candlelight.

The timer on the microwave beeps, and Noelle lays the book down on the table. She returns a few minutes later with two steaming plates heaped with her latest vegan creation.

After Wynn brings two glasses of iced herbal tea from the kitchen and sets them on the table, Noelle draws runes in the air over their meal to charge it with good energy. Then she plops into her chair and flips open the book.

“Careful,” she warns, as Wynn sits and lifts a heaping forkful of vegetables and rice to his mouth. “It’s hot.”

Wynn gives her a crooked grin, leans over, and tenderly kisses her cheek. “Thanks for looking out for me, sugar.”

“You’re so transparent!” Noelle bursts out laughing.

Wynn lifts the fork to his mouth. “It’s part of my charm.” He winks at her and chews.

“Okay, cat-man,” she asks, pulling a candle near the book to illuminate the page she’s reading. “Do you want to do this tonight?”

“Probably not.”

“No?”

“Read, Noelle.” He waves his fork at the book. “This takes preparation. It’s not like the spells you usually cast.”

“Hmm,” Noelle mutters, quickly skimming pages while she eats. “Looks like we’ll need to cast a sacred circle. Just like we usually do.” She looks up at Wynn, grinning naughtily. “Only this time the bed will be the altar.” She licks her lips. “I like it already.”

“That’s my girl,” Wynn replies, looking at her through thick dark lashes.

Noelle taps her fingers on the table as she continues to eat and read. “So this is basically a ritual of manifestation.”

“It is.”

“And we can use runes for the sigils?”

“We can.”

Noelle frowns. “I’m not very good at following directions, as you know.”

Wynn grins and cocks an eyebrow. “It’s one of the things I love about you, sugar.” He stands and stacks their empty plates.

Noelle looks down at the book and taps her fingers again. She’s always been a free spirit, only doing what she wants to do. Rarely following the beaten path, she’s never taking direction well. Even her Pagan life has been eclectic. First she was a Wiccan, then a follower of the Goth movement, and now a Rune Witch.

When Noelle felt she needed a nest egg for her financial future, she began to invest in stock. Now she’s thirty-five, and this year she used part of the earnings from her investments to buy a house.

Thoroughly enjoying her independent status, she avoided long-term relationships. Instead she hopped from one Pagan boyfriend to the next.

Until she bumped into Wynn five years ago while they were both shopping at Spencer’s in the mall. He was a former Chaote, who had also become an eclectic Pagan, blending a bit of chaos magic, sigil magic, and shamanism into his Pagan faith.

Noelle couldn’t resist his darkly handsome appearance or his feral aura. She could sense he lived life on his own terms, caring little how others perceived him. There was also something ominous and foreboding about this quiet man. He wore personal power as comfortably as his black leather jacket, and she wanted him.

They left the store together and talked for hours in the coffee shop at the mall.

Noelle invited him into her bed that night. And they’ve been a couple ever since, a fact that gives Noelle’s independent streak the jitters. But Wynn seems to be the perfect, calming balm for her cranky, high-strung personality.

After he dropped hints for two years, she finally let him move in with her in June. Noelle suspects he’s fallen in love with her and would like to make their relationship permanent.

But the idea of marriage terrifies her, so she ignores it. Living in denial has its advantages.

“It looks like I can be eclectic here and do my own thing,” she muses, folding down the corners of several pages and closing the book.

“Absolutely.” Wynn lifts the plates. “Chaos magic is eclectic by definition. As long as we build the proper amount of energy and focus our intent to cast the spell, it should work.”

“Cool.” Noelle watches him take the dishes into the kitchen and admires the way his jeans hang on his hips. “What a boy-toy,” she murmurs.

“All you have to do is figure out what you want to manifest, darlin’,” Wynn explains, walking toward the sliding glass door.

“Going out?”

“Yeah,” he responds, opening the door four inches and kneeling down to slip a bar in the track. “There’s a waxing moon tonight.” He turns around. “Good energy for a run.”

“Okay,” she warns, pinching out the candles. “But stay in this neighborhood.”

“Yes, ma’am.” He gives her a sexy grin. “I won’t be gone long.”

Wynn backs away from the door. His tall, lean body dissolves into a sparkling cloud of mist, which quickly dissipates to leave a black cat hopping out of his clothes crumpled in a pile on the floor.

Noelle reaches down to scratch Wynn’s head as he rubs against her leg, purring loudly. He arches his back, runs around the room, and slips through the small opening in the door, dashing out into the dark wilds of a hot August night in Columbia, South Carolina.

“Showoff,” Noelle mumbles, standing up. She tucks the sex magick book under her arm and walks through the den and down the hall to the room where they keep their computer equipment. As she passes through the door, she drops the book on a table and drags a chair up to her computer, content to check email and surf the web until Wynn returns.
